This exquisite bag is made of burlap and leather.
Burlap is derived from the jute plant, making it a biodegradable and eco-friendly material. This rugged fabric is  washed  with stone chips to remove excess fibers, creating a smoother texture, and then dyed to achieve vibrant colors. The result is a beautiful, soft fabric that stays true to its sustainable roots.

We have partnered with The Burlap People in Kolkata to create this eco-friendly burlap bag. They  have  a rich legacy of enhancing the aesthetic and utilitarian value of jute, being pioneers in screen and block printing on jute in India. Their skilled artisans, many of whom are third or fourth-generation bag makers, handcraft  our bag collection with advanced weaving, dyeing, printing, and embroidery techniques. The result is a unique, beautiful bag that highlights the eco-friendly nature of jute.
Eco-Friendly Leather
The  leather is sourced from larger leather manufacturers’ surplus, often rejected due to color discrepancies or surface irregularities. These materials are cleaned and upcycled for our bags. Our leathers include a mix of virgin, upcycled, scrapped, and salvaged pieces.
Product Care
Spot clean for minor stains and dirt. Avoid machine washing. For heavy dirt, we recommend dry cleaning. Each bag comes with a sling dust bag to store the bag when not in use.
